*Not currently accepting new clients* The author Barry Lopez wrote that humans "have a way of talking about beauty as though beauty were only skin deep." He writes that "Real beauty is so deep you have to move into darkness in order to understand what beauty truly is." We do not need to be a conglomeration of our past negative experiences or symptoms. It is possible to actively increase our self-efficacy and not be controlled or dictated to by our pasts. Sometimes we need help from others to not sink into self-doubt. I'm most interested in helping people I work with facilitate the change they would like to see in their lives. I am trauma-informed, EMDR-trained and have found success working with those who have experienced trauma, client's dealing with symptoms of ADHD, with Autistics, and people feeling a lack of connection to themselves and to others. I enjoy working with those who have been in therapy before and had mixed results but are still hopeful in the process. UI work with adults, adolescents, and families. I use Feedback Informed Therapy, so am interested in facilitating the best possible outcome for you based on your progress and your thoughts and feelings about the job I'm doing as your therapist.
