About

I help people who are frustrated by not being able to meet their own high expectations for themselves. Sometimes this shows up as struggling with pornography, masturbation, or other sexual behaviors that they feel conflicted about. Other times it shows up as being overly focused on achievement, productivity, or doing things 'just right'. It might also look like struggling to feel pleasure, arousal, or connection in intimate relationships. Either way, they're likely to end up burned out and stressed out. They're convinced that if they just try harder and set the right goals, they'll finally be good enough.

Often my clients come from religious backgrounds or families where obedience and perfection were highly emphasized. They might still practice their childhood religion, or they might have experienced a faith transition. Either way, they want to understand themselves and how to reach their goals without burning out or drowning in shame.

I would love to help you reconnect to your mind, body, emotions, and goals in a way that is compassionate, shame-resilient, and sustainable. I meet with individuals and couples. Once you reach out, we can chat to make sure I'm the right fit for what you need.
