About

It takes courage to navigate this journey we call life. Courage to accept, to let go, to ask for help, to grow, courage to do whatever it is that keeps you from living the life you want to live. I work collaboratively with my clients to help them learn from experiences, increase their ability to cope with the demands of life, & ultimately to grow and live more courageously. My approach is culturally sensitive & integrative incorporating elements of multicultural, cognitive-behavioral, and interpersonal theory.

As a sport psychologist, I provide individual & team-based performance enhancement services to athletes & coaches. Areas of interest include: mental skills training, athletic transitions, self-talk, confidence, cultural issues, clinical issues in sport, identity & personal branding, managing injury, & disordered eating. I also provide educational workshops & presentations for various groups & organizations.

In my clinical work, I primarily provide individual counseling services to adolescents & adults. I work with a variety of presenting concerns including multicultural concerns, mood & anxiety disorders, identity development, relationship issues, life transitions, body image, eating disorders, trauma, & substance use concerns.
