I am drawn to working with people who want to be more present in their lives–people striving, and perhaps struggling, to move toward connection and vulnerability with others (and oneself) and away from self-judgment and critique. I work with people college-age and older, and my areas of interest are anxiety, depression, life transitions, sleep disorders/insomnia, chronic health issues, relationships, dating, ADHD, and issues related to family-of-origin. My approach is one of deep listening, compassion, and curiosity. Modalities I draw from include attachment theory, psychodynamic theory, mindfulness, somatic approaches, as well as CBT, DBT, and ACT. However, more so than any one modality, the most important part of therapy is the therapeutic relationship. I know how overwhelming and emotionally exhausting the search for a therapist can be, and I'm honored that you would consider me. I invite you with open arms to contact me to see if you think we would be a good fit to work together.
