Ken Trivison earned his master's degree in educational psychology from John Carroll University and completed a two year post-graduate training program in systemic marriage and family therapy. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame. He is a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). He has served as a Board member of AAMFT and is a past president of the Ohio Division of AAMFT. He is a former member and past chair of the Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist Licensing Board. He was also a co-developer and former faculty member of the Northern Ohio Family Institute. His prior experience also includes working for more than 20 years for Catholic Charities Services and serving in a variety of clinical and director level positions, including director of the Center for the Prevention of Youth Violence in Lorain County and director of outpatient mental health services in Cuyahoga County.
