I believe that at its core, therapy, is a relationship and that a genuine relationship is the path to which meaningful change and growth can happen. I strive to foster relationships rooted in trust, consent, and empowerment. I hope to gain an understanding of your needs and wants while collaborating with you to create goals that will lead you in the direction of your desired future. I utilize an integrative application of relational-cultural, family systems, narrative, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed therapy. I work particularly well with racialized and queer individuals who are seeking to address concerns related to depression and/or anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, grief and loss, or minority stress. I truly value your agency and diverse social and cultural factors. I demonstrate this value by remaining interested in your use of language and the narrative you tell about your life and experiences as well as aiming to cultivate a therapy space that is safe and reliable where you can exercise vulnerability and express yourself freely.
