Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
Hello! I specialize in serving clients experiencing disordered eating/eating disorders, anxiety, depression, life transitions struggles, and stress looking to make peace with food, their bodies, and themselves. I provide a warm and relatable environment so clients feel safe to explore and process the intricacies of their experiences. While therapy can touch on difficult topics, I make sure we are also acknowledging and celebrating the joy in your life! I utilize a client-centered approach that honors your inherent wisdom as the expert in your life as the mechanism that will lead to lasting change. I'm licensed in CT, VA, and CA. I practice from a Health at Every Size and anti-diet model with a holistic and systems approach that acknowledges how environment influences both the development of and recovery from mental health struggles. I believe that full recovery from an eating disorder IS possible, and I work with clients to divest from diet culture and refocus on internal worth. You are not alone; finding your way is easier with support and I'd be honored to accompany you on your journey towards healing, wholeness, and recovery. As I believe that therapy is inherently political, my aim is to provide inclusive and affirming care for people regardless of their identity. I encourage you to reach out to see if we're a good fit.
