About

Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas who has been practicing since 2010. I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and a master's in professional counseling: Marriage & Family Therapy from Texas State University in San Marcos. I have extensive therapeutic knowledge from 13 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the areas of ADHD, anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorder, school and behavioral issues, grief & loss, trauma, college/career, and anger management.

I am a client-centered therapist. Modalities I primarily utilize in therapy are CBT, Solution-Focused, and Psychoeducation. Modalities I primarily utilize in therapy are CBT, Solution-Focused, and Psychoeducation. I typically work with children 10 and up, teenagers, and adults.

I like clients to talk about what they've tried before and what they are wanting to work on in sessions. I think of therapy as a sounding board. Clients can ask questions and bounce coping skills/ideas off the therapist, try things out in their daily life, and then process whether the new skills worked or didn't work for them.
