Therapists » Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor
My role is to create a relaxed, non-judgmental environment where you feel comfortable to explore your story together. I have helped people struggling with a range of different mental health diagnosis and life challenges. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional all my sessions are trauma informed and offer a warm, client-centered space for you to gain new perspectives about the world and yourself. In sessions with me you can expect to learn coping skills, but also get deeper by working on self-acceptance, autonomy, and overall feeling more empowered and in control.
I find it important to take a flexible approach to therapy as I understand that each client has different needs and goals. For this reason I use various tools and interventions while drawing on the client's personal strengths! I like to keep an open dialog with my client's so that they feel comfortable voicing any needs or adjustments throughout treatment.
Starting therapy can be intimidating. In my sessions I go at my client's pace so that the process can be as comfortable and effective as possible. By reading this you are taking steps towards either starting or continuing your mental health journey, nicely done! I would be honored to be a part of it.
