Working in the educational classroom setting for the past 13 years, I have the unique experience of understanding individuals whose profession (teachers, guidance, CST) has an impact on their other roles in life. Additionally, I also see the importance of adolescent executive skills such as time management and emotion regulation and how they play a role in proper development for post high school decisions. Finally, having primarily a math background in education, I am able to assist middle school and early high school population with some uncertainties they may have with academic tasks. I specialize in adolescent, individual, and family counseling services. I became licensed in the state of NJ as a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2010 and have been working in the counseling field in various capacities for over years, with the last 6 being primarily in a private setting. I work as a Special Education teacher (10 years high school, 3 years in middle school). Having experience in the field helps me understand realistically the experiences teachers and students go through on a daily basis. This work enables me to come face to face with some of the difficulties both adolescents and families face.
