Therapists » Supervisee in Clinical Social Work
As an LCSW supervisee working towards full clinical licensure, my life experiences have given me the gift of being intersectional in my approach to therapy. I understand the complexities of identity, culture, and personal history, and how these factors shape our mental health and well-being. My clinical focus is on supporting individuals who live with serious mental illness or co-occurring disorders as well as Service Members, Veterans, and their Families. I bring a deep understanding of those coping with complex mental health needs as well as the unique challenges faced by those in the military community. My approach is rooted in empathy, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based interventions to help clients navigate the complexities of their experiences. I desire to create a therapeutic space that honors and respects the unique experiences of each client. I strive to create a safe supportive space where clients can explore their emotions, develop coping strategies to manage symptoms, build resilience, and work towards personal growth.
