Life can be hard; it can also be beautiful, complicated, messy, heartbreaking, and delightful. Sometimes our hearts ache due to situations out of our control whether it be grief in the loss of a loved one or a friend. Other times we inadvertently pick up coping mechanisms that once protected us but are no longer serving us in the way we had hoped. Whatever the underlying stressor causing you to seek out counseling (feelings of inadequacy or burnout, family of origin or religious trauma, codependency, grief, and so much more)-
