I have been a psychotherapist counseling adults, couples and families for thirty years. My experience in working with people has given me a unique outlook on the human condition and the complex nature of relationships. I earned a Masters Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University in 1987 and a certificate in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from the New York School for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in 1990. I have particular expertise in dealing with such issues as relationship problems, depression, anxiety, transition, goal fulfillment, stress management, bereavement and loss. My unique specialty is empowering people who are going through major life transitions such as divorce and separation, single parenting, and aging. My greatest strength is in helping women discover their untapped power.
