I support long-term couples struggling with conflict and disconnection who may feel unsure how to solve their challenges or rekindle their loving dynamic. I help couples improve communication skills, identify and express underlying vulnerable emotions, and ultimately deepen their intimacy and romantic connection. I also support folks with dysfunctional family and/or religious histories, who are interested in alternative healing approaches. This may entail witnessing the pain and patterns of the past, and then potentially reclaiming and reimagining their relationship with spirituality. My approach is psychodynamic and relational, where the therapeutic relationship is key in the healing process. With couples I utilize a direct, insight-oriented approach. Depending on client preferences, I use mindfulness, meditation, dream analysis, guided imagery practices, and archetypal explorations utilizing tools such as astrology and tarot in session. I also work with secular clients and clients struggling with grief, complex trauma/PTSD, anxiety, and LGBTQ+ related issues. I am committed to implementing and embodying frameworks that are anti-racist and anti-colonialistic, while centering body inclusivity (HAES), sex positivity, and trauma-informed care. I am kink and poly-affirming.
