I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Doctor of Behavioral Health with 9 years experience in the field of Social Work. I have experience working in inpatient and outpatient crisis settings with individuals ranging in age from 7-70. I also have extensive experience working with current and past county and state inmates who express concerns including anxiety and/or depression to severe mood disorders. My past experience as a K-12 American Sign Language interpreter involved working with educational teams to enhance mainstream school experience/inclusion for children who were learning to adapt with multiple diagnoses. I work with individuals to develop a customized plan to meet their unique needs. This includes implementing a variety of cognitive and solution-focused interventions aimed at empowering the individual to find the power and resolutions within. I am committed to providing a non-judgmental atmosphere that also include a direct and honest approach. I pride myself on maintaining focus on each client’s individual strength(s) in order to help guide them to develop their own inherent skills into lifelong building blocks that will continue enhance their quality of life long after sessions conclude.
