I work with individual adults and couples who are seeking to deepen their understanding of themselves and create meaningful change in their lives. My areas of focus include stress and anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions, relationship issues, sex and intimacy, and trauma. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming. I have a unique interest in the intersection of societal systems and trauma and offer a safe, non-judgmental space to work towards healing. My prior experience in a variety of treatment settings has given me advanced training in working with individuals with Bipolar disorder and helping family and loved ones deepen their understanding. View 5 Photos My therapeutic style incorporates authenticity, compassion, and humor. I integrate psychodynamic, relational, and attachment-oriented approaches in my practice to best fit each client's needs. We will work together to decide goals and I will utilize strategies from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Narrative Therapy. I am inspired by this work because I’m given the opportunity to sit with clients during difficult times and celebrate their achievements. I am motivated by peoples’ abilities to persevere through hard times and strive towards bettering themselves, even when it seems impossible. As a favorite author of mine, Glennon Doyle says, "We can do hard things.”
