Therapists » Marriage & Family Therapist Associate
Therapy is a place to slow down, explore who you are, get unstuck, and engage in the important work of improving your relationships with yourself and others. I am genuinely and deeply interested in you- what experiences have shaped you, how you view the world, yourself and those around you. You and I will explore what is working well for you and what isn't, and will work together to move you toward a life of greater peace, congruency, connection and authenticity. My goal as a therapist is to create a space where you feel safe and fully seen for who have been and who you are today, and who you can be in the future. I believe you are the expert on your life. I will help you see and understand themes and connections in your choices, values, relationships and experiences which may be unrecognized strengths or stumbling blocks in your life. I will walk alongside you and help you find solutions that genuinely fit you who are and what's important to you. Together we will also look at the systems that shape you- including family of origin, current family, social network, race, socioeconomic group, occupational life and spiritual community. I use a trauma-informed approach to therapy, using EMDR, CBT, experiential and attachment-based approaches, depending on your needs and goals.
