I believe that even in the most difficult times, there are opportunities to learn about your inner self and develop new perspective that can lead to finding joy and fulfillment in life. I have experience working with adults of all ages who struggle with addiction, depression, anxiety and past trauma. Personal experience with being a caregiver and supporting someone with a chronic illness. My clients are looking for a quiet and safe environment to share and explore their life experi My past clients have said that I help them put challenges into a positive perspective. Also I allow the individual the space to explore and experiment with new ideas while being supported in a caring environment. I have worked in schools, community mental health settings, outpatient and residential substance abuse programs. I frequently give homework and supplemental readings to support the individual learning experience. I see myself as both a teacher and an ally. I use humor, compassion, and many anecdotes about animals in my life that have acted as guides to foster my own learning about living and growing.
