About

Growing up & parenting is hard work! It is a helpless feeling when your child is struggling and you don't know how to help them; and when one person in the family is struggling, everyone in the family is struggling. For over a decade I have worked exclusively with children, teens, and their families. I was trained at one of the top pediatric hospitals in the country, in their department of psychiatry. I believe that in working with children you must also incorporate their family and I encourage family involvement in all of my treatments.

I have extensive experience working with children & teens experiencing Anxiety, OCD, Depression, trauma, self esteem, overall adjustment to school, family relationships, and peer problems. For my younger clients I use Play Therapy in sessions, for my adolescent clients I create a comfortable environment to explore feelings and facilitate change.

It can be scary to not know where to turn or what to do next, but I am here to help you in your role as a parent, guide your child to a happier and healthier life. My goal is for children to see therapy as a safe space, even a fun space, and to take the skills and lessons they learn during sessions and apply them in their daily lives .
