Have you been feeling down or anxious? Are you stressed about eating or body image? I provide therapy for adolescents and adults with eating, mood, and anxiety disorders. I specialize in treating disordered eating, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, and picky eating. Difficulties with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma and/or life transitions can be related to trouble with eating and body image. I work to understand how these experiences interact for each individual, tailoring therapy to fit their unique needs and strengths. My approach is weight-inclusive, queer-affirming, and respectful of cultural diversity. I specialize in evidence-based treatments for eating, mood and anxiety disorders, including: cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family-based treatment (FBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). My therapeutic style is informed by dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and integrates skills for emotion regulation. Let’s work together to identify your personal values and goals for therapy. I am passionate about supporting individuals and families through challenges and times of growth. My style is caring and active, balancing acceptance and change. Whether you are totally new to therapy or have tried a lot of options and feel like nothing works, I can meet you there.
