About

I believe the potential for healing exists within everyone and that individuals hold the answers to the changes they are seeking. Our work together will focus on creating a safe and supportive environment whereby you can gain insight and understanding into the areas that are troubling you and develop the tools needed to affect change. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 20 years of experience I have worked successfully with children, families and adults facing issues such as depression, anxiety, loss and trauma.

I utilize a variety of treatment modalities and adapt treatment to fit your individual needs. I work from a strengths based perspective and have a warm, gentle and supportive therapeutic style.

I am trained in psychodynamic, psychoanalytic and cognitive behavioral theories (CBT) and have extensive training in child centered play therapy, parent/child relational/attachment theories, trauma, addictions, depression, anxiety, domestic violence and bereavement. In addition to my private practice, I supervise therapists in a local mental health clinic.
