About

Life is a journey, with many ups and downs. When taking the first step to finding out understanding or making a change, it can be difficult and scary. I practice through a holistic approach, as healing is done through whole self. I use several modalities; cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused, motivational interviewing, and person-centered therapy. Whether therapy is needed for children or adults, each session will be based on the needs of the client by creating a safe environment for growth and identification of what brings you to counseling.

I have worked in various placements, including CPS, adult mental health, the juvenile justice system, military counseling services and private practice. I offer a safe, warm, and open place to talk about any situations that might have brought you to counseling. I am a active duty military spouse of 12 years.

I know that the hardest part is making the initial call to counseling. Whether it is the cost or possibility of insurance not covering the session that causes hesitation, know that we will work together to ensure that the best care is provided to you and/or your family. I very much look forward to talking with you.
