Hi there! My name is Kat, and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker. I have extensive experience working with teens and adults who have experienced trauma. I am passionate about working with individuals who are navigating through intense feelings, including anxiety and depression, life transitions, relationship issues, and other life stressors. The foundation of my approach is to meet you where you are at and to foster a therapeutic environment that is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. Through my holistic lens, I consider the interconnection between the body, the mind, and one's sense of belonging with others. I utilize a range of evidence-based modalities and approaches whether it is CBT, compassion-focused therapy, mindfulness, and others in order to support you with your unique challenges. I recognize that our core narratives and wounds are often written earlier in life. From all that I have come to learn, I firmly believe that life is full of opportunities for corrective experiences and that we all have the innate ability to live full lives through connecting with the appropriate support that allows for us to feel seen, heard, and validated.
