In these unprecedented times, many people find that depression and anxiety have become daily challenges. For others, historic or recent traumas create problems such as flashbacks, panic, or poor self-concept. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have spent the last 28 years providing compassionate and effective psychotherapy to those who struggle with mental health and addictive disorders. I use approaches that include narrative therapy, mindfulness, EMDR, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to challenge long-held negative beliefs and maladaptive behaviors that can interfere with recovery. I specialize in treating complex co-occurring disorders including depression, PTSD, substance use disorders, and grief and loss. I am also an EMDRIA certified therapist. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families. I also provide coaching and consulting services. I look forward to supporting you in your unique recovery process as you explore past wounds and learn to recognize your resilience and capacity to heal.
