Hi! I’m Kathleen, and I’m a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern (CMHC-I). My practice encompasses working with children, adolescents, and adults addressing a range of issues including eating disorders, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, body image concerns, and self-confidence. I have extensive experience working at a residential facility specializing in the treatment of individuals with eating disorders. My therapeutic approach integrates several major counseling theories, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy, with a focus tailored to the unique needs of each client. I am committed to the belief that every individual has inherent strengths and potential to overcome life’s challenges. My goal is to help clients recognize their potential and develop the skills and strategies necessary to achieve their goals, by empowering them and creating conducive conditions for personal growth.
