"We should not have to wait until we are sick to be well." ~ Diane McLarenThe connection between a healthy mind and body can not be disputed. Too much mental anguish, depression, anxiety, stress, relationship conflict, and anger will impact on an individuals' mental and physical well being, and will carry over into all areas of one's life. It is never too late to make the necessary changes and adjustments that will ensure a healthier and happier life style. If you are experiencing any of these problems, I know that I can assist you in resolving these issues. I provide individual, couples, and family therapy from a systems perspective while also utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, brief solution focused modalities and motivational interviewing. I am trained in EMDR for trauma and stress reduction, and I also have a strong background in substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. I have day, evening, and weekend hours available. My office is located across from the Milford Train Station and I am an In-Network provider on a number of insurance panels.
