About

Our practice serves clients 18 and older. I am passionate about working with adults of all backgrounds and identities who are coping with symptoms of anxiety, depression, grief, difficulty adjusting to life's transitions, or navigating complex relationships with family members and others. I have a certificate in gerontology and enjoy working with older adults as much as working with younger and middle-aged clients. I believe individuals are the experts on our own lives . . . and that each of us can, at times, use a fresh perspective to help reexamine, and sometimes challenge, our old assumptions.

My approach relies on deep trust and mutual respect. I find that honest collaboration helps clients tap into existing strengths, see other perspectives, and identify tools to help meet their goals. I work primarily with individuals but will see couples when both partners are committed to improving their own mental health by building a stronger relationship.

The bond between therapist and client is the single biggest predictor of a successful therapeutic process. My style is warm, non-judgmental and versatile. I know it takes courage (whether it's your first time or you're coming back for more) to begin therapy, and I invite you to reach out to see whether you feel we could be a good fit for one another.
