My life experiences both professionally and personally have shown me how prevalent trauma is in our world today. While we are navigating different or in some cases very similar storms, I believe that each of us travel in our own boat. Some of us are traveling in Yachts with more amenities than we can even imagine, while others are negotiating the turbulence of the seas, in what feels like a life raft. The continuum of vessels is vast and I consider it my job to help you upgrade yours by accessing/implementing positive coping strategies, facilitating insight, collaboratively setting goals, and creating more meaningful relationships. View 11 Photos I have clinical experience from a variety of settings including work in a crisis stabilization unit, treating PTSD and trauma, and most recently working with children and families in the public school setting. I also have a background in yoga and feel passionate about the importance of connection; especially within ones own mind, body, and heart. We are all recovering from something... As a therapist I believe that it is my job to create a container in which my clients can feel seen, heard, and safe to explore their own vulnerabilities with themselves. I have witnessed how this kind of self exploration leads to the discovery of (and builds upon) an individuals strengths; and that's the magic.
