The thought of someone being upset with you makes your skin crawl. Another day gone by where you kept your thoughts to yourself to keep the peace. Big emotions and conflict feel dangerous and you fear as soon as you say what you’re feeling, people will judge and leave you. Being agreeable and going along with what others want feels like the safest way to live. You're spending the day replaying convos in your head, questioning if you said the wrong thing and worrying if that person is mad at you. You're exhausted from always apologizing, but backing down would cause conflict and you'd be seen as a problem for others.

Maybe you’ve been told that having feelings and opinions and sharing them will cause too much trouble for everyone else. This isn’t true and you don’t have to feel this way anymore. You can say no without feeling like you’re a bad person. You deserve to feel safe and secure in yourself so your worth isn't tied up in what others think of you.
