Hello! I'm Kate Bailey, a Resident in Counseling with Wildly Rooted Counseling in Harrisonburg, Virginia. I earned my Masters and Educational Specialist degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at James Madison University. I aim to create a safe space where clients feel deeply valued, understood, and empowered. I believe that the therapeutic relationship can be beneficial to anyone, and can help inspire a deeper connection with yourself and others. I have experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and of all ages. I am a humanistic therapist who uses an integrated approach tailored to my clients and their individual needs. I am an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community and welcome clients of all gender identities and sexual preferences. I am also an advocate for health at every size. Change and growth are never easy - it takes courage and dedication to participate in therapy. It's an honor to walk with my clients on their journey, and I look forward to being a part of yours!
