Resilience is adversity reframed. This statement encompasses the perspective that everyone experiences difficult times or situations, but through the storm, we can feel peace and work towards growth. Therefore, it is important that we can lean on our support systems to heal and grow from those experiences. I would be honored to be part of you or your child's journey through the storm. My hope is to help clients feel safe and accepted so they can cope with difficulties they may be struggling with. I specialize in working with children (ages 1.5 and up), teens, young adults, and caregivers. I have extensive experience and training in treating trauma. I also help with parenting, attachment, self-harm, suicidality, depression, anxiety, emotional difficulties, behavioral concerns, and neurodivergence. I most often utilize Play Therapy and CBT. The most important part of therapy is to feel like you have a good fit with your therapist. This is when the magic happens. With a strong relationship, a person can feel safe and heard and therefore, be able to work through obstacles. My goal is to provide a light in the storm and guide you or your child through adversity.
