About

“No matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and will be better tomorrow”- Maya Angelou. For many, life brings stress, depression, anxiety, or trauma. Trying to balance unhealthy thoughts, feelings, or behaviors with family, work, and school can quickly feel overwhelming. Therapy provides a safe and nurturing environment where a client can increase self-awareness and receive validation. I work with individuals, couples, and families to help process difficulties, learn effective coping skills, and grow and heal to improve emotional health and well-being.

I have 15 years of experience working with children, teens, and adults on anxiety, depression, stressors, and life transitions. I closely work with each client to create an individualized plan and set goals tailored to their specific needs, using a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.

The idea of beginning therapy can certainly feel intimidating, however if given the opportunity, it can also be beneficial and rewarding. My goal as a therapist is to offer my full support so clients can learn to use their strengths and the potential needed to improve their quality of life.
