Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
Are you struggling with anxiety, loneliness, or unease, and you're not sure why? I listen carefully and help create a safe space to increase understanding and ultimately, facilitate moving away from self-defeating patterns towards greater well-being. This includes improved relationships, relief from painful feelings, stronger communication and coping skills, and greater meaning in life. I am an Asian-American therapist. I have worked with many people of many backgrounds on this journey. I have a special focus on intergenerational trauma, maternal mental health, and body image. As a clinical social worker, I hold a holistic view of the social and cultural contexts that influence our lives. I obtained my MSW from Smith College and completed advanced post-graduate training with UC Berkeley's college counseling center. I am also trained in psychodynamic therapy through the SF Center for Psychoanalysis. Above all else, it is important that we share a process based on warmth and respect. I welcome hearing from you.
