Since my youth, my passion has been to do the work I am doing, and I have been preparing and improving my skills toward that end. My goal is to enable clients to feel heard, identify potential causes for their concerns, create a treatment plan, and collaborate with them in their healing. My greatest satisfaction is working with clients to enable their highest potential, and their greatest strength, wisdom, and serenity. I work to develop a deep understanding of a client's perspective, then engage and join with the client to move forward from there. View 4 Photos I counsel clients with relationship issues, life adjustments, depression, anxiety, and other concerns, offering individual and couples counseling. When appropriate I offer hypnosis as an adjunct to counseling, and work with addictions secondary to mental health issues when it is safe to do so. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor, National Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, and have been a practicing therapist since 1984. I have provided trainings to professionals on Counselor Ethics, Counselor/Client Relationships, Diagnosing Chemical Dependency, Facilitating Group therapy and more.
