About
As a dually licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Alcohol and Drug Counselor, the focus of my work is with adolescents (Ages 14-17) who are experiencing issues centered on complex trauma, addiction, and mental health disorders. I also offer counseling to the emerging adulthood population (Ages 18-29) who may be finding challenges navigating transitional events such as leaving home, finishing education, finding employment, redefining relationships with parents, and identity exploration. My treatment approaches are grounded in a holistic, relational approach that is strength-based, solution-focused, culturally sensitive, trauma, and compassion focused. I utilize a variety of modalities including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. It is my intention to create a safe, compassionate, judgment-free therapeutic space for clients to breathe, reflect, and be heard. I am licensed in Maine (LCPC) (LADC), Massachusetts (LMHC), New Hampshire (LCMHC), New Jersey (LPC), and Virginia (LPC).
