I am a licensed psychologist in North Carolina and provide both psychotherapy and assessment services. I specialize in psychological assessments including diagnostic testing for emotional problems, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Learning Disability (LD), and gifted assessments. Psychological assessments can be especially helpful when evaluating children and teens, as unidentified mood issues frequently impact learning styles and academic difficulties. I also provide therapy services to help individuals resolve problems, understand and develop strengths, and cope more effectively with life's challenges. I specialize in anxiety disorders, issues wtih depression, and low self-esteem. My clients describe me as caring, understanding, and straight forward in my therapeutic approach. I have specialized training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to help individuals improve coping skills and work through past trauma. Additionally, I have an interest supporting parents with children who have emotional and behavioral disorders. My office is conveniently located in Southpark near the corner of Fairview Road and Piedmont Row Drive.
