About

The decision to begin therapy can be a difficult one. That's why my goal is to provide a safe and comfortable atmosphere where individuals can engage in exploration that leads to growth and positive change. I do this by incorporating a laid back style with the philosophy that therapy cannot be one size fits all and needs to be tailored to each individual client. It's then clients will be able to discover what impacts their lives, learn to understand their emotions and develop a new found sense of self awareness.

I enjoy working with adults and couples but have experience with adolescents, children and families. I also enjoy working with other therapists because everyone can benefit from talking. My client focus is life transitions/changes, female and male issues, martial concerns, personality disorders, depression, anxiety, attention/focus, trauma and grief.

Prior to private practice, I spent almost 10 years working in a non-profit focusing on families and individuals at risk of homelessness, helping them gain emotional and financial stability during traumatic and life changing times. As the spouse of a veteran, I can relate to the challenges military life places on families.
