About

Hello! I am so glad you are here, and I am grateful for the opportunity to work with you. I welcome individuals and couples of all identities, ages, abilities, and body sizes across the lifespan. I particularly enjoy working with those in the older childhood (8 years and above) to late adulthood stages of life. I am employed at Julie Ballew, LCPC, LLC as a license-eligible counselor (PCLC). Julie Ballew, PhD, LCPC is my licensed supervisor who oversees all of my clinical work. Insurance billing, if any, is done under her name and license.

I am passionate about supporting clients of all ages living with a wide variety of disabilities, neurodiversity, and/or chronic health conditions, including individuals who utilize AAC. I have considerable training and education in play therapy (including neurodiversity-affirming approaches), and I enjoy incorporating creativity into my work.

My work is rooted in a collaborative and trauma-informed perspective. I love working alongside clients as they uncover a sense of belonging, deeper understanding, and connectedness. My role in this process is to support you in honoring all the complexities that come with being human while creating a space that is genuine, accepting, and safe to do so.
