Note: During the CoronaVirus Crisis, I am offering online/telehealth sessions. Visit my website for details! I work with kids, adolescents, and adults, leading them to their "A-ha" moments. I make difficult concepts simple using humor, story-telling & analogies. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address the thoughts, feelings, beliefs and actions which may be obstacles to getting where you would like to be. I also rely heavily on Positive Psychology, which uses a strength-based approach (rather than a focus on problems). When working with Traumatic events, I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I help people with relationship issues of all kids, including helping kids and parents improve connections, marriage/romantic relationships & family issues. I also work with anxiety, depression, and trauma, as well as substance abuse issues with adolescents and adults. For those that need a nudge that falls below therapy, I offer coaching services as well. Whether it is a long term issue, or a new stressor, come see me - I would love to help. We can hold whatever it is you're going through up to the light, take a good look at it, and figure out how to get you past it, through it or around it. Not only that, we can work to build skills which will help you maintain momentum long after therapy is done.
