Embarking on a journey of healing with a therapist who understands your unique experience can make all the difference. As a multi-racial person raised in Queens, NY, I bring a deep cultural sensitivity and awareness to my practice. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and committed to providing a space where a person from any background can feel safe, connected, and encouraged to become the best version of themselves. To facilitate this, I offer EMDR, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and CBT. I also encourage the exploration of existential conflicts and find that this is often fertile ground for growth. EMDR is an evidence-based, transformational psychotherapy used to mend the wounds of trauma and root causes of present challenges. If you feel more comfortable with talk therapy, a psychodynamic approach is used for deep exploration and healing, while CBT is used to foster healthier ways of thinking and feeling. I know first meetings can be unnerving. When meeting with me, you can expect to be provided with the opportunity to share your goals, as much of your story as you're comfortable with, and to do so in a warm, encouraging, and at times, humorous space. You can contact me for a free 15-minute consultation with any questions or to find out more.
