Our lives can be filled with authentic joy and I believe counseling can help individuals accomplish that goal. My role as a counselor is to create an authentic environment of trust, understanding, and consistent with the client's goals. I believe in a therapeutic process that promotes change for the betterment of the client, challenging and confronting irrational thoughts and beliefs, and encouraging lived experiences and cultural lenses to be an important part of counseling. As a former dual sport college athlete, I understand the unique success and challenges that come with being an athlete at any age and any level. My counseling style is open-minded and optimistic while not being afraid to achieve client goals by being straightforward in my approach. I use a mirage of techniques and backgrounds to help my client in their own unique way. This allows responsibility and ownership to be cooperative during our time together. Do you ever ask yourself so many questions without answers? You aren't alone. More likely than not, people are had the same internal conversations. But what if, you had that conversation with someone else? I love having that conversation to help bring people to where they want to be. People want to have a joyful life and I strive to help you get there.
