About

I graduated with a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida. I have had the opportunity to work with families, individuals and couples (English and Spanish speaking) of diverse backgrounds in helping them through concerns such as grief, parent-child conflict, intergenerational conflict, addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety and so on. My therapeutic and advocacy experience has reinforced in me the value of helping others gain insight and implement strategies to move towards positive change.

I offer individual counseling for both Adults and Adolescents (13+) as well as couples counseling. My therapeutic orientation is eclectic and I have have received training in several therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Gottman Method Couples Therapy Intervention.

My job as a therapist is to care for emotional, behavioral and physical issues being impacted by your mental health. Together, we will explore factors impacting your life and identify strategies that you can use immediately to help get you to the changes you desire.
