About

Hello! Our clinic specializes in depression, anxiety, disordered eating and eating disorders (EDs), trauma and PTSD, and difficulties with emotion regulation. We also have extensive experience in providing therapy to college students, athletes, and LGBTQ clients. We offer a DBT skills group, a body image group, and a perfectionism group. Whenever possible, we use treatments that have proven efficacy, but we customize treatment to the particular needs of our clients. We approach our clients with respect, warmth, and cultural humility and feel that having a strong therapeutic relationship is central to the success of therapy.

Our clinical team is directed by Dr. Julie Trim, who served as Director of the UCSD Adult Eating Disorders program for 11+ years and is certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). She publishes in scientific journals, gives talks, and has directly supervised 30+ psychology trainees.

Most of us try to savor the goodness in life, but it's not always easy. There are so many stressors that we face in today's world, and it can be hard to feel we are living full, authentic lives. Whether you're struggling with a long-standing problem or a bump in the road, we can help you move past the hurdles and live your best life.
