About

I have a strong belief in the human spirit, and that individuals inherently possess the ability to make very powerful changes in their lives. I help to provide effective tools for transforming negative self-talk into a more motivating and inspiring internal process. I gently challenge habitual emotional reactions that tend to hijack a person's ability to think clearly. Once a person is able to manage these struggles a bit better, he/she/they are able to achieve better emotional regulation and make optimal choices toward personal growth and well-being.

I have decades of experience providing results-oriented professional counseling, coaching and consultation to individuals, and couples. Extensive experience in providing treatment for depression, anxiety, grief and loss, low self-esteem, acute stress, life transition stress, communication problems and couples conflicts. Try Brainspotting with me!

My work is most influenced by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Brainspotting, Family Systems, Positive Psychology and John & Julie Gottman's approach to couples counseling. However, I realize that each person has different needs in therapy. I bring emotional depth to my work regardless of a persons treatment needs.
