I am a long-time veteran in the behavioral and mental health professional community. It is my mission to change the way we view relationships and how we treat the individuals who are affected by addiction and mental health issues. For over 25 years, I have been helping individuals, couples, and families who are interested in creating lasting positive change. I use a combination of evidence-based approaches which are client-centered. By having a rich body of experience, I am able to connect with and create relationships with clients that are authentic. I graduated from Columbia University with a Master’s degree in Social Work and am also a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. I have advanced training in Motivational Interviewing, CBT, Level 3 Trained Gottman couples therapist and have worked extensively with people with addiction who are dealing with childhood trauma and/or mental illness. I believe that each person and family system is unique with their own set of challenges and strengths, which can both complicate and enhance the paths to healing and recovery. I know that healing and recovery are possible for anyone who is suffering and I will not give up until we find a successful path for you.
