I am an experienced psychotherapist. I work best with persons serious about their desire to make their lives more meaningful and themselves more free. I enjoy being a part of the process of change that occurs in those who choose to make such a commitment. I work with individuals across the life span, including work with infants and caregivers, with adolescents and with adults. By experience and by inclination, I believe that, in choosing psychotherapy, one gives oneself a great gift. I am interested in an individual's personal history and its effect on the person's present life. I provide a space, and a space in time, for a person to better understand the complexities and contradictions implicit in being human, in being oneself. I have found that being fully listened to is, in itself, a powerful agent of change. Having someone who is genuinely interested in what is happening in your life and in how you feel about it opens the way for growth.
