We all face common struggles of loneliness, depression, sadness, anxiety, conflict in relationships and stress related to work and finances, among others. After years of treating children, adults, couples and families as a Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist, I know that by embracing and exploring our struggles we can use the power of our wisdom to find solutions, enhance our growth, access our potential, and experience contentment and joy in our lives. I provide individual therapy and couple's therapy to those wanting to discover solutions to specific problems, but also, those seeking greater satisfaction and contentment in their lives. I have extensive experience working with individuals of all ages with a range of concerns. My conceptualizations of problems are formulated from knowledge of family systems and issues arising from one's family of origin, attachment, personality difficulties, and social context that includes issues related to gender and race. I am spiritually and relationship oriented and have found a place for the values of kindness, compassion, and open heartedness toward ourselves and others valuable when working toward growth, change and problem solving. I consider the therapeutic relationship significant to supporting growth and change.
