As a psychodynamic psychotherapist, I find that lasting change comes through self understanding. I help people in a safe, nonjudgemental environment to develop a greater sense of control over themselves and their lives. Current neuroscience shows us that overcoming emotional problems usually involves a process of understanding underlying issues. I am experienced in helping individuals, couples and families in times of crisis. I have a broad range of experience, working with many different types of people in various situations I have a special interest in pregnancy and the post-partum period, including mother-child bonding. I also specialize in helping adult children grapple with a parent who has dementia and provide relationship therapy/mediation for adult siblings.
