Let me tell you a bit about myself, and if I seem to be a good fit for you, we can begin as soon as you would like. My name is Josh Burke, and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the state of Colorado, Vermont and New York. I have been providing psychotherapy for a wide variety of issues and populations for over eight years. I graduated from Roberts Wesleyan College in 2013 with a Master in Social Work with a mental health concentration. For six years, I provided individual therapy to clients in the city of Rochester, NY, through their primary care offices. I have since moved out of the primary care office and are working as an Independent Therapist via telehealth and in-person consultations. I understand seeking help can be a vulnerable step to take. Exploring the healing process or enriching one’s personal growth, first and foremost, requires establishing a trusting and emotionally supportive relationship. Change is not easy, but it is possible.
