Hello, my name is Josey S Corbett, LCSW and I am the owner of Oasis of Hope Therapy, LLC. We are a group of collaborative therapists serving Columbia and Suwannee Counties in North Florida. Each of us specializes in different areas. Most of us use a strength based perspective and we have experience treating many different Mental Health concerns. I like to start from a perspective of Wellness rather than "Mental Illness". I generally screen for trauma, dissociation, and strengths. I have had success with both children and adults from many diverse backgrounds. We work on building self-worth and confronting issues from the past while building skills to alleviate or eliminate troubling symptoms. Most of us who experience symptoms of mental or behavioral issues feel very alone and there is a strong sense of failing ourselves or other people. Guilt and shame often keep us from reaching out. I know that it's a difficult step to reach out but after taking those first steps, we can work together to find a healing path for you.
